John, a long time SRS member and excellent audio/visual technian passed away on Decmber 29, 2020 due to complications of his existing health issues by the Covid-19 virus.
He was part of the sound crew of the former Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society, and was wholly resposible for the overhead camera shots of the piano keyboards shown at the 2020 virtual West Coast Ragtime Festival.
John was described by some as "Self deprecating and sweet".
